Hi, my name is James Benjamin Hoggatt. I’m a new media artist looking to further develop my skills as a designer and engineer. After getting my bachelor's degree in arts and technology from UTD, I set my goals to designing sculptures and developing my non-profit web based fundraising platform that visualizes fundraising goals for other organizations. I find the beauty in the design of any system and like to be given a large problem and work out solutions to a high level of detail. I’m comfortable getting my hands dirty while fabricating, managing projects, operating machinery or laying out cut files. I consider myself a humanitarian and plan on using my skills to make a major impact on the worlds unsolved problems, mainly by empowering and making visual representations of causes surrounding clean water, food, shelter and the environment.
